[ meaning well ] is the product of a constraint-oriented, sample-based exploration of synthetic instrumentation using freely available open-source mixing tools & a limited palette of audio samples, gathered & cultivated by chance operation over a period of twelve months during which i spent most days contemplating what is meant by "life" & what delirious & prodigal scintillations of value, desire, & inter-est conspire to stir us, tempt & temper us into organ-ism. my ultimate aim was to make music that is both something anybody with a computer + internet connection could make, &, at the same time, something only i, myself, could have made.
